ABOUT US
CMLAA Mission and Purpose
The Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association serves the entire law school community. While every Cleveland-Marshall alum becomes a member of the Association for free, CMLAA plays an important part of your experience long before you become an alum. Among the most valuable initiatives the Association offers students, is its Mentor Program and Scholarship Awards. The Mentor Program pairs students with an alum, and/or member of the legal community, who provides guidance, advice, networking and social opportunities to assist students in navigating their law school experience. The Association also hosts a number of social and fundraising events, such as CLE programs and our flagship event, the Annual Recognition Luncheon (ARL) – where two distinguished alums are honored for their career accomplishments and commitment to CMLAA and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. These fundraising efforts allow the CMLAA to award scholarships to deserving students each year, who are recognized at the Association’s Annual Meeting and/or the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Awards Ceremony.
